ABSTRACT:

India has the largest human capital and is going to be a super power in the world. But introspection reveals that the common man is facing lots of problem like poverty, unemployment, etc. India has remarkable level of starvation malnourishment in the world. According to the recent Global Hunger Index Report 2012 India ranks 97th in Global Hunger Index. Despite of sufficient production many people are suffering from scarcity of food because we legs behind in proper storage facilities of food grains and equal distribution also. The level of of starvation malnourishment is alarming in our country. Thus the prevention of food has become on priority in the objectives of development in the country in India.
